I am interested in what remains.

The fragments of a memory. A place we once belonged to. A feeling that stays long after the moment has passed.

I am a Swedish artist whose practice grows out of memories, dreams and places that have stayed with me, often transforming into something unfamiliar along the way.

I am drawn to the point where the ordinary becomes strange. Familiar places and objects can shift, become distorted, or take on a new meaning. Through subtle surrealism, I create spaces where reality and imagination overlap.

Melancholy runs through much of my work. I am interested in what lies beneath the visible, the quiet experiences, silences and encounters that shape our sense of belonging. I often return to the feeling of being slightly out of place, and to the subtle ways in which a person can be made to feel that they do not belong.

I do not work within a fixed medium. Instead, the idea determines how a work takes shape. Material, technique and form become tools for finding the most truthful expression of what I want to communicate.

Working by hand is important to me. The physical process leaves traces of hesitation, imperfection and presence. In a world increasingly shaped by automated images, I see this human trace not as nostalgia, but as a way of insisting on being present.

My work is an attempt to make visible what is difficult to see: the things we remember, the things we hide, and the things that remain.
